About This Role:


Electronics Design Laboratory provides researchers with access to advanced electronics, assists with integrating electronics technology into research programs, and aids in electronics technology transfer to users by providing ongoing technical support. EDL works in cooperation with many diverse academic departments for a symbiotic approach to problem solving.

This position will:

  • Engineer solutions for university and non-university entities.
  • Develop a project from concept to delivery.
  • Construct customer ideas into electronic parts.
  • Maintain project budgets and documentation.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or comparable degree.
  • FPGA firmware design
  • High speed digital design
  • Embedded systems design
  • PCB CAD design experience
  • Embedded systems programming
  • Python scripting
  • Low noise high performance analog design
  • Project management skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Five years of relevant experience
  • Requires a bachelor's degree

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$63,440 - $114,176 annually
