About This Role:

The Center on Biologics Development and Evaluation (CBDE) in conjunction with the Department of Anatomy and Physiology within the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to undertake several administrative and program management tasks. CBDE provides innovative services to our global partners and customers in animal vaccine safety and efficacy evaluation and using vaccines as alternatives for antimicrobials in food animal production systems. This position will help CBDE's Director in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties associated with multiple research, education, and service programs.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and one year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.S. in biomedical science or relevant field
  • Detail-oriented and efficient
  • Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Five years experience as program coordinator or relevant position
  • Knowledge of program management and development procedures
  • Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
  • Must be a registered paraprofessional under the authority of the Kansas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners within six months of employment.
