Job Description
Position Title: Assembly Tech
Wage: $25-$35/hour

Our customer is looking for an individual who performs a combination of electrical and mechanical tasks to construct high quality custom equipment for industrial machines. Assembly Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform a combination of electrical and mechanical tasks to construct high quality custom equipment for industrial machines
- Fit and assemble parts to assembly drawing specifications
- Perform basic electrical wiring using wiring diagrams, schematics, and wire lists
- Install and wire electrical cabinets into new machine builds
- Connect machine to in-coming power
- Conduct functional tests to verify proper machine/panel operation
- Run and test equipment for proper function
- Perform final assembly inspection to ensure production specifications and standards are met
- Assist in Machine Shop and facilities maintenance or troubleshooting as required
- Other duties as assigned
Assembly Tech Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; Technical certification preferred
- 2 years of hands-on experience
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to safely use a variety of hand or power tools, including a Digital Multi-meter and soldering iron
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-starter; work independently and as part of a team
- Accurately follow oral instructions and written policies and procedures in time sensitive situations
- Problem-solving skills and mathematical skills
