Responsibilities

The Primary Care Practice Manager will have an oversight of both the Valley Falls and Internal Medicine clinics at The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus.

  • Manages all operational functions of one or more employed physician clinics to include personnel supervision, budget and patient flow to ensure providers have maximum opportunity to provide superior patient care to patients.
  • Ensures the clinic meets stated goals and objectives, including organizational, facility, and service line.
  • Responsible for effective establishment and management of quality standards in office(s) to ensure health center standards are met and/or exceeded.
  • Collaborates with other departments for seamless patient care, including but not limited to billing/coding, laboratory, radiology, other physician offices, administration, and inpatient care.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Associates degree in a related field
  • Valid and current state driver's license

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Clinical or other healthcare experience
  • Management experience (budgets, staff development, etc.)
  • EMR experience (EPIC)
